We teachers had a plan to greet the families in the front of the school, however, many had a different idea. Excited children arrived early in the classrooms, ready to go. Our new fourth graders filed in, unpacked their belongings, and joined Sophia's dad in a prayer of dedication of ourselves and our school year to the Lord. We took more family pictures and then began our day. I'll post a few of their comments.
Cute Comment#1. One of the students asked if there was another teacher, in addition to me, (like in third grade when they had two teachers in a job share arrangement.) We talked about how we should go to the teacher supply store, in Walnut Creek, and buy a teacher, to help me.
My favorite part of school is recess. I also like that I got to see my friends. My teacher's name is Mrs. Larsen. She is very nice. I love all the subjects we're learning. I can't wait to learn more.

My first day of school was fun. The work was not too hard. I like fourth grade. I can't wait to learn more about California.

My friends and I played dodgeball this morning. It was fun. I met a new friend, Matthew S. I think class is easy and fun. I did not have spare time. Everythings seemd to go so quickly. We had so little paper work to do. I did language, math, social studies, and others. I loved my first day of fourth grade.

I have made great friends with Dominique. She is nice, helpful, and playful. She is a joy and so is everyone else.
